Chef's recommendations

  • Serve the dish on its own or layer on bread (add arugula and burrata) for a delicious sandwich

  • Enjoy with a roasted veggie, radicchio, and arugula salad

  • Pop open a bottle of wine, we recommend a chilled white, or crack open an ice-cold Pilsner and enjoy!

Cooking Instructions

1. Place the dish in the fridge to thaw overnight or for 24 hours.

2. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Remove the lid from the container and bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, rotate the container and cook for an additional 15 minutes, until the zucchine alla parmigiana is hot throughout. If you want to brown the top more, broil on high for 3-5 minutes until dark brown spots begin to appear.

3. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil and enjoy!

Meet The Maker:

Ceci’s Gastronomia, a bright Italian spot in Silverlake run by husband and wife Francesco & Francesca, features familial regional Italian cuisine. Francesco learned to cook while spending his childhood summers with his nonna in Borgotaro, Italy. You may recognize him from Sixth & Mill, which was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, during his time there. All the dishes on the Ceci’s menu are nonna-inspired!
