1 baguette or loaf of French bread
2-3 cloves of garlic
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Slice loaf of bread in half longways. Slather both sides with butter.
Place bread into the oven for 4-5 minutes.
While bread roasts, peel and thinly slice garlic cloves.
Once the bread is hot, scatter garlic cloves across the bread and sprinkle with salt.
Return to oven for another 2-4 minutes until toasty and aromatic. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.
